About Us: The Makovicka Physical Therapy Team strives to provide an atmosphere where we can focus on outstanding service through employee engagement and organizational growth, and to create a welcoming and friendly environment.

Position: Are you detail oriented and enjoy computer work but also like to be up and moving and not be tied to a desk all of the time? You must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role. This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease
• Ensure accurate patient records
• Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
• Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment
• Help patients with exercises and mobility activities
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team

What You Need to be Successful:

• Enjoy moving and working with patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs
• Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct
• Strong people and communication skills
• Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs

This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. In addition, there is a high degree of physical movement throughout the day.

Requirements

Qualifications: High School diploma desired. Previous front desk and insurance experience preferred.
