Medical Receptionist

Full Time | Auckland Central

At OneHealth General Practice & Urgent Care, our reception team plays an important role in keeping a varied healthcare environment running smoothly. From welcoming patients through the door to supporting doctors and nurses behind the scenes, you’ll play an important role in the patient and team experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist who enjoys variety, works well under pressure and takes pride in getting the details right.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be organised, confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll know how to balance competing priorities while making sure patients still receive a warm, professional experience.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience in NZ general practice, urgent care or a similar healthcare setting.
• Experience with Medtech Evolution.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Excellent communication skills and a high standard of written and spoken English.
• Confidence managing busy periods, changing priorities and competing demands.
• A positive, adaptable approach to new systems, processes and ways of working.
• Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares about doing a great job - for patients and for the team around them.
