Medical Receptionist | White Cross Glenfield, Auckland

Pull Time | 40 Hours per Week

Are you passionate about helping people and creating great first impressions? White Cross Glenfield is looking for a friendly, organised Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team.

As one of the first faces patients see when they visit our clinic, you'll play an important role in ensuring every patient feels supported, valued, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are quite the same. Working closely with our clinical and administration teams, you'll help deliver a seamless experience for patients while supporting the smooth operation of the practice.

• What You'll Be Doing
• Welcoming patients and visitors in a professional and caring manner
• Managing appointments, cancellations, and patient enquiries
• Registering patients and maintaining accurate patient information
• Handling phone calls and coordinating bookings
• Providing administrative support to clinicians and the wider team
• Processing payments and managing front desk responsibilities
• Helping create an efficient, positive, and patient-focused environment

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy healthcare setting.

You'll bring:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A warm, approachable, and professional manner
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technologies
• The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Previous administration, reception, or customer service experience

Experience in a medical practice or healthcare environment is beneficial but not essential. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys helping others and contributing positively to a team.
