Patient Relations:
Welcome patients warmly upon arrival, manage the reception area, and handle initial inquiries with high empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Appointment Coordination:
Manage, optimise, and schedule patient appointments efficiently using specialised practice management software to ensure a smooth daily patient flow.
Financial Administration:
Process daily billing, handle patient payments, and conduct systematic, professional follow-ups on outstanding or unpaid patient and medical aid accounts.
Data & Records Management:
Capture and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, digital files, and medical histories in accordance with practice protocols and regulatory compliance.
General Office Support:
Answer incoming calls, manage practice correspondence (emails and post), and assist the medical team with general administrative tasks to support daily clinical efficiency.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Clinical Assistant, or Practice Administrator within a medical or healthcare setting.
Proven experience managing medical billing and credit control workflows.
Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, compassionate telephone manner and high emotional intelligence.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage patient arrivals and administrative tasks simultaneously under pressure.
Strict commitment to medical confidentiality and patient data protection protocols
Deep familiarity with medical aid claims processes and ICD-10 coding administration.
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
