Medical Readiness Training Manager to administer readiness training for Aeromedical Evacuation and Patient Staging teams. This role supports curriculum, training standards, METLs, course projections, readiness visits, training-system data, and budget forecasting. Location for this work is at Scott AFB, IL.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain formal and informal readiness courses, curriculum, standards, METLs, and standardized training requirements for medical UTC teams.
  • Advise on Air Force, Joint, and NATO medical readiness doctrine and participate in readiness, exercise, and expeditionary training committees.
  • Administer AE and Patient Staging training using Oracle Training Application and MILPDS and provide system training to newly assigned personnel.
  • Compile global fiscal-year course projections for Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve Command requirements.
  • Conduct staff-assistance/readiness visits and support POM input, annual training forecasts, and defense-budget planning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience administering military medical readiness, deployment, Aeromedical Evacuation, Patient Staging, or comparable operational training programs.
  • Ability to develop curriculum and standards, manage training data, forecast demand, and prepare readiness reports and briefings.
  • Experience with Government training/personnel systems such as OTA, MILPDS, or comparable platforms.
  • Current Tier 3 investigation with Secret eligibility and enrollment in Continuous Vetting; ability to obtain and maintain interim or final Secret access, CAC, system access, and required Government training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • USAF/AMC medical readiness, AE, Patient Staging, RTOC/EOC, staff-assistance visit, or training-budget experience.
  • Instructional systems, education, healthcare administration, or program-management degree/certification; equivalent experience is acceptable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

  • Full-time, primarily onsite at Scott AFB, Illinois, during Government core hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; short-notice schedule adjustments may be required.
  • Telework is not guaranteed and may be authorized only when the Government and contract permit situational telework.
  • The role may require CONUS/OCONUS temporary-duty travel for meetings, site surveys, training, exercises, testing, or mission support, including possible travel aboard DoD aircraft.

Salary Range: $32 - $39
