(Hiring) Medical Physicist

We are seeking a Medical Physicist to become a part of our team! You will coordinate medical and health services in hospitals, clinics or similar organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Researching, developing and evaluating new analytical techniques
• Planning and ensuring safe and accurate treatment of patients
• Creating new systems to investigate medical conditions in patients
• Providing advice about radiation protection
• Training and updating healthcare, scientific and technical staff
• Managing radiotherapy quality assurance programmes
• Mathematical modelling
• Maintaining equipment
• Writing reports
• Teaching
• Laboratory management

​ Qualifications:

• Consulting with patients and physicians
• Overseeing delivery of treatment to patients, such as radiation treatment for cancer
• Developing patient treatment plans and checking charts
• Performing quality assurance on medical equipment
• Mentoring/training residents and students (if in a joint academic position)
