Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change means that our patients are 4x as likely to lose significant weight through their course of treatment with Juniper.

Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients.

We launched in Japan in 2024 and quickly shifted some focus to support our fast-growing UK business. Since then, Japan has shown strong momentum, growing over 150% and expanding our marketing investment tenfold. Our goal is to reach 50,000 patients by the end of 2026, building on the success of our UK team, which grew from 5,000 to 40,000 patients in just ten months.

Globally, Eucalyptus now generates over A$500M in annual revenue and continues to double in size each year while staying financially sustainable. We’ve also made sure our people share in that success — around 20% of employees have already benefited from our employee share program.

🇯🇵 Our plans in Japan - About Juniper (The clinic)

Our mission through Juniper is to empower people across Japan to take control of their weight journey. For us, this means a medical approach to weight loss that doesn’t judge, doesn’t discriminate, and really works! It’s why we connect patients with Japanese doctors, dietitians and a clinical team, who can guide and empower them on their journeys. With clinically proven medication, lifestyle interventions, ongoing support, and a community of like-minded women, we help patients achieve better weight loss outcomes.

🛠️ About the role (What you’ll be doing)

• Responding to patient enquiries via tickets in Japanese and English using our patient experience tool (i.e. Zendesk) - don’t worry, extensive training will be provided!
• Ongoing support to patients experiencing side effects and/or symptoms related or unrelated to their medication for Juniper, including virtual calls to help patients through their health journey, giving patients an overview of the medication, their dosage schedule and potential side effects
• Triaging medical issues with support from a robust clinical framework and global clinical team
• Be our point of contact to our network of Eucalyptus partnered doctors
• Working closely with a team of health coaches, doctors, registered nurses and / or pharmacists to provide holistic care to patients
• Supporting and training our non-clinical patient facing teams

🥼 About you (Who you are)

• You are registered in Japan as a Pharmacist
• You have 3+ years of clinical experience post-registration as a Pharmacist
• You have native level Japanese language skills and business level English language skills (must)

🏆 Bonus points for

• Experience in telehealth or specialized medicine (i.e. obesity management, diabetes, GLP-1)
• Worked in triaging in a clinical setting (i.e. intensive care unit, emergency department)
• Good understanding of computers, systems and tools (i.e. Zendesk, LINE, Facebook)
