Job Description

Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, a Care New England hospital, is one of the nation’s leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns and a major teaching affiliate of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University for obstetrics, gynecology and newborn pediatrics, as well as a number of specialized programs in women’s medicine including our breast oncology and gyn oncology fellowship programs and colorectal cancer.

At our Breast Health Center, we combine advanced technologies and a full array of treatment options including: mammography, breast MRI, surgery, genetic counseling and prevention, lymphedema, rehabilitation and survivorship programs. Our integrative therapy services offer nutritionists, navigators, therapy dogs and support groups to help ease a patient’s discomfort and better manage their journey body, mind and spirit.

  • BE/BC Medical Oncologist, interest in Breast Health
  • Employed, leadership opportunity available
  • Team: oncologists, breast surgeons, APCs, RNs, MAs, LICSWs
  • Adult patient population, average daily census 15-20
  • Primarily outpatient, some inpatient consults (hospital across the street)
  • Infusion center with 17 chairs located in the same building
  • Participation in multi-disciplinary tumor board
  • EPIC implemented across the health system
