Job Title: Medical Oncology Physician

Location: Ephrata, PA

Employment Type: Full Time (1.0 FTE)

What You’ll Champion:

• Community-based general adult Hematology/Oncology practice (benign hematology, solid tumors, blood cancers)
• Outpatient Schedule Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Facilities 9 shared exam rooms; infusion and radiation on-site; embedded palliative care
• Accredited & Collaborative CoC accredited; partnership with Johns Hopkins and Maryland Proton Center
• Team Fully staffed – 2.5 Medical Oncologists, 1 PRN Medical Oncologist, 3.0 APPs. Currently supported by navigation, social work, dietary, research, and genetic counseling (hybrid model).
• Volume & Call 14-16 patients per day, shared call-coverage model to include inpatient consults and rounding (Hospitalists admit)

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required and

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Teaching skills.
