IntroductionThe Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:understand and adhere to the study protocol, SOPs, and study requirementsperform medical history, clinical examination, and eligibility assessment of participantsprovide clinical care and daily monitoring of admitted participants, including day and night shiftsconduct daily rounds with the study consultant and manage medications, investigations, and clinical ordersidentify, document, and report abnormal findings, adverse events, and safety concernsensure timely and accurate completion of clinical and study-related documentationreview, validate, and perform quality checks on clinical and study datadevelop and maintain study documents, including progress reports, SOPs, protocol amendments, and data collection formstrain and supervise junior research staff and coordinate with relevant study teamsperform other study-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
RequirementYou should have:MBBS degree along with One Year house Job/internship experience will be preferredexperience in comprehensive patient history and perform clinical examinationensure clear communication with patients and the study teamability to establish harmonious working relations at the place of workFlexible in taking over additional/new responsibilities when required by projectable to understand and follow instructionexcellent communication skills.
