About the role:
The Integrated Women’s Health Hub – South Cairns has been established under Wuchopperen Health Service as part of the Queensland Government’s Women’s and Girl’s Health Strategy. The Hub provides women and girls access to health and health related care and support through a safe women friendly space with the simplicity of service navigation, provision of flexible holistic care, and free services provided by a diverse workforce.
To provide high quality primary health care services to clients of the Integrated Women’s Health Hub.
This position works closely with other members of the Integrated Women’s Health Hub team and maintains regular contact with other program staff to ensure effective outcomes for clients while providing high quality primary health care services to clients of Wuchopperen.
The Medical Officer is supervised by the Practice Manager and the position has no supervisory responsibilities.
