Job Description

Job Location: Lubbock Family Medicine - Lubbock, TX 79413Education Level: 4 Year DegreeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Office Manager to support the financial operations, office administration, and basic clinic coordination in our medical practice.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a bookkeeping or accounting background, who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and helping clinic management with daily tasks.

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including:
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • General ledger entries and financial reporting
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Process invoices, payments, and deposits; follow up on outstanding balances
  • Support payroll processing and maintain vendor accounts
  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects as needed

Clinic & Office Coordination

  • Assist clinic management with daily operational tasks and basic coordination
  • Help coordinate day-to-day office workflows to keep operations running smoothly
  • Help ensure patient flow runs efficiently by supporting front desk staff when needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for staff questions and vendor communications
  • Assist leadership with implementing office procedures, basic compliance tasks, and performance improvement initiatives

QualificationsQualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative, accounting, or bookkeeping experience required (healthcare setting preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and follow-through
  • Comfortable assisting with both administrative and light operational responsibilities in a clinic environment
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills

Schedule & Benefits

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Competitive hourly pay or salary, depending on experience
