The Position

The Medical Network Expert/Lead is a key role that brings the Medical Scientific Affairs (MSA) strategy to life for a given disease area by serving as the interface between China Medical Affairs teams, China cross-functional strategy teams, Regional, and Global teams to deliver an integrated medical strategy plan that incorporates short-, mid- and long-term perspectives.The Medical Strategy Partner works hand in hand with the Medical Affairs team members to understand and address customer needs, leverages external stakeholder generated insights, and collaborate with the Global teams to provide China-specific insights into products in development.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities主要工作职责

1. Bring clinical insights to all disease area medical squad conversations

2. Works within the cross functional core team, in close collaboration with the MSA stakeholders to develop the medical components of the overall China integrated strategy for a given disease area (and related assets/services) leveraging external stakeholder generated insights/needs

3. Coordinate medical strategy plan development for a particular disease area to include: INSIGHTS, INNOVATIONS, EVIDENCE, GUIDELINES and EDUCATION & SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGES

4. Develop a robust KOL network outside of the company that can be strategically tapped for medical insights and advocacy work

5. Review outputs of internal partners for medical accuracy and patient centricity

7. May support Medical Affairs work in the specific disease area as needed and respond to unsolicited requests for information about unapproved products or uses, or off-label information.

8. Identifies opportunities for cross-functional cooperation to maximize utilization of resources

Basic Requirements of the Job基本任职资格:

Education & Qualifications教育背景与专业资格:

MD, PhD or PharmD and working experience in relevant disease areas

医学、科学或药学博士及相关疾病领域的工作经验

Experience工作经验:

1. 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing medical strategies for various diseases in the medical or pharmaceutical industry

4年以上在医学或制药行业，具备针对各种疾病制定和实施医疗策略的经验

2. Clinical research and trial management experience, and the ability to interact with KOLs with sufficient knowledge, expertise and confidence.

临床研究试验管理经验，及拥有丰富的知识，专长及自信与KOL 进行互动的能力

3. Must maintain knowledge of applicable research and literature

对适用的研究文献有知识储备

4. Fluent English skills and excellent presentation and teaching skills and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner at medical, scientific and public events.
