QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Minimum OSMT certified
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated; able to prioritize activities
• Must be able to use initiative and work unsupervised
• Current experience in Histology environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Practical examination may be part of the interview process

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include the following:
• Preparation of Reagents
• Retrieval of slides and blocks
• Shipping of slides and blocks
• Computer entry
• Filing of blocks, requisitions and slides
• Weighing out buffer salts
• Equipment maintenance
• Organization of requisitions and blocks
• Troubleshooting the reconciliation of requisitions and blocks
• Maintenance of all temperature charts
• All other duties as assigned.
