QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical Laboratory Assistant training
• Two years experience in a medical laboratory
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with electronic medical records (particularly Accuro) is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens on site and prepares specimens for transport
• Perform procedures in urinalysis, haematology and biochemistry
• Responsible for the delivery of accurate and reliable test results

REQUIREMENTS:

• Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse and Adult Abuse Registry checks
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends

SALARY RANGE $29.478-34.173 per hour
