This opportunity is:

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Status: Full-time

Shift: 1st Mid-Shift

Days: Sunday - Thursday

In this role, you will:

  • Perform an Array of Molecular Assays including Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Urology and Hematology FISH assays, classified as moderate to high complexity testing by CLIA '88.

  • May Evaluate and Perform Breast Prognostic Marker, PD-Ll, MMR evaluation (IHC) and Enumeration of HER2 DUAL ISH slides. Must participate in Proficiency Testing (CAP).

  • Perform High Volume of testing. Laboratory Computer Skills necessary Enter results in to LIS, Perform Equipment Maintenance and Prepare Reagents.

  • Record determinations and results in the LIS system for review by physician on certain assays.

  • Enter results manually in the LIS system to completion when necessary.

  • Process specimens using established laboratory techniques.

  • Set up and maintain instruments and apparatus required for specified laboratory tests.

  • Coordinate the preparation of /prepare media, chemicals, reagents and solutions.

All you need is:

  • Bachelors Degree in the field of Laboratory Science or equivalent under the 1988 Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines of high complexity testing.

  • Completion of a Medical Laboratory Scientist program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).

  • State licensure
