
Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
Minimum Education:
Baccalaureate degree in relevant science preferred
Minimum Work Experience:
One year clinical laboratory internship preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
MT(ASCP) or equivalent registration, or MT eligible under Medicare laboratory regulations
Required Regulations:
Adhere to infection control policies and guidelines appropriate for their work area. Hand hygiene and PPE (job applicable) followed when appropriate.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
The registered Medical Technologist must have a sound knowledge of Clinical Laboratory science. The employee shall have the ability to perform highly advanced technical and complex analytic work.
