An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a per diem position with a monthly requirement of 12 hours. This is an onsite position at the Niskayuna EmUrgentCare, with some travel required.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Properly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care setting
• Accurately select the correct patient, anatomy and protocols to complete exam
• Confirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures in computer and site schedules
• Clean and always maintain equipment and examination rooms
• Collect vitals and brief medical history of patients
• Directing patients to examination rooms
• Ensuring rooms are setup for efficient patient care
• Ordering and re-stocking of medical supplies
• Team support to medical providers and front desk
