Position: Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our client's hospital in Libya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging technology and possess excellent technical and interpersonal skills. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting various imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform and interpret various imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasounds

- Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results by following established protocols and techniques

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures for each patient

- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel

- Educate patients on the imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques

- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Medicine from a reputed University

- Specialty Board

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various imaging equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in medical imaging

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a standard workweek of 48 hours. The Medical Imaging Specialist may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the needs of the company. The work environment is in a medical facility, with some exposure to radiation and other hazards. The candidate must be physically able to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
