We are looking for a proactive and pragmatic Medical Governance Manager with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of medical compliance and governance. You enjoy building relationships, supporting colleagues, and translating complex regulations into practical guidance. With a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, you help create a compliance culture that enables both people and business.
This is what you will do
As Medical Governance Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening Chiesi's compliance culture across the Nordic region. Acting as the go-to person for medical governance matters, you will support colleagues in navigating compliance-related questions, drive governance initiatives, and ensure that processes, materials, and ways of working are aligned with regulatory requirements and company standards.
You will be responsible for
SOP Management: Regularly review, update, and implement medical SOPs in alignment with regulatory requirements and company policy.
Staff Training: Develop and deliver training sessions for employees on new or updated SOPs, ensuring understanding and adherence.
Self-Inspections: Plan, coordinate, and oversee self-inspections within the medical function to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Material and Document Approval: Evaluate and approve medical materials and internal documents to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
Support and guide in complex medical compliance questions throughout Nordic organization (including our R&D department) and act as a bridge to the local compliance consultants
Project Management: Lead medical governance projects, acting as a project manager to drive initiatives and achieve objectives.
Work closely with our Nordic Legal & compliance function
You will need to have
University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of medical compliance, governance, and relevant regulations.
Experience working with SOPs and quality processes.
Experience reviewing and approving medical or scientific materials.
Project management experience.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language.
