The External Funding Team Member supports the team of Medical Education and External Research Associate Directors (AD’s). This role is responsible for the tactical execution of end-to-end grant and study management and assists in the continuous improvement of Medical Education [Independent Medical Education (IME), Scientific Advancement Grants (SAG), & Quality Improvement Education Grants (QIE)] and External Research [Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) & External Collaborative Research (ECR)] grants. The incumbent uses knowledge of grants and research and external connections to work with Local Clinical Development and Medical Affairs (CDMA), Legal and other internal partners to process submissions, maximize and continuously improve operational efficiencies/customer satisfaction, and ensure that compliant practices are adhered to.
