Medical Delivery Driver - Appleton, WI - $16.50/hr

Wednesday-Friday 4:00am-12:00pm

Heavy Supply Route - Must be able to lift 50lbs

*A portion of this route receives a shift differential prior to 5am = $17.50/hr

What you willbe doing as aMedSpeedMedical Driver

• Most of your day will be spent in a company-owned vehicle, safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interofficemailand related materials

• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle

• Strictlyobserveoperating policies,proceduresand service schedules

• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction

• Load and unload company vehicles withappropriate equipment

• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior

• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections andmaintaina clean,neatand orderly vehicle

• Route duties vary based on client and business needs, and LSRs must be able to perform all duties across all routes they may be assigned.Route assignments may change from time to time.

What you need to become aMedSpeedMedical Driver

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years

• Demonstrated dependability and reliability

• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology

• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely

• Ability todetermineefficient routing between multiple points

• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen

• Operatecompany vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems, understanding that video will be captured whileoperatingthe vehiclein accordance withapplicable federal and state laws and company safety policies.

• Drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions

• Must have an excellent driving history

• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

• While drop-off and pick-up responsibilities may vary and routes may be inconsistent, the ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands is alwaysrequired

• Must be able to lift items off storage racks

• Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing forlong periodsof time
