We are looking for an exceptional Medical Dosimetrist to join our Medical Physics/Dosimetry team. This position requires ability to travel onsite, as the work arrangement is hybrid remote with 75% of time onsite and 25% remote.
The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team, who brings expertise and knowledge necessary to generate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. The Dosimetrist is an active member of the radiation oncology team and participates in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. The Dosimetrist is expected to work with radiation therapists in patient simulation and ensuring plan deliverability on the treatment machines.
EDUCATION:
Requires a Master’s, Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or related Sciences.
CMD certification is required upon eligibility.
EXPERIENCE:
2 years of dosimetry experience preferred.
SCHEDULE:
This position works five 8-hour or four 10-hour weekdays. Call is not required for this position.
