ABOUT THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR ROLE
As we continue to scale Upperline Plus in our regions, Upperline Health is seeking a Medical Director for the West Florida market to advance clinical excellence, strengthen provider engagement and lead clinical value-based care across the market.
This role combines direct patient care, clinical leadership, and VBC program management and partners closely with the central interdisciplinary team, population health and operations teams.
With a patient-centered approach the Medical Director will see a small panel of their own patients, provide clinical oversight and hands-on coaching to Upperline Plus’ nurse practitioners, identify market opportunities, improve clinical processes, and lead VBC and population health initiatives – all with a focus on optimizing the care model to improve patients’ outcomes and quality of life.
The position will be based in the Tampa area Approximately 30-50% of time will be spent in the clinic setting.
