Job Description:

The Medical Director provides direct clinical patient care while helping guide clinical practice within a primary care environment. Working in partnership with other clinical staff, the Medical Director supports the development and implementation of medical protocols and treatment regimens and helps ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

Education and Experience:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Licensed as a physician in the State of Alaska.
• Current American Board certification in a specialty appropriate for the service.
• Ability to meet all requirements for associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, PALS, and other certifications are required as applicable to specialty and scope of practice.
• Two (2) years of post-residency experience as a physician

Attractive Factors:
