We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to join our Locust Hill, VA team on a part-time basis. This leadership role offers an opportunity to provide clinical oversight and strategic guidance across post-acute and long-term care settings while retaining schedule flexibility and receiving strong administrative support.

Provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for residents in post-acute and long-term care settings
Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based clinical policies, protocols, and quality initiatives
Collaborate with facility leadership, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings, case reviews, and clinical education
Assess and manage acute and chronic medical conditions; provide timely escalation and triage as required
Ensure accurate, timely documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Mentor and support medical staff and advanced practice clinicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license and current DEA registration
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty preferred
Experience in post-acute care, long-term care, geriatrics, or related settings preferred
Proven leadership or supervisory experience with excellent clinical judgement
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems
