The Medical Director of Clinical Informatics (Population Health) is an enterprise physician informatics leader responsible for advancing the strategic use of clinical information systems and data to support population health, value‑based care, and quality outcomes across the health system. The role serves as a clinical informatics leader for population health initiatives, partnering closely with Population Health, Quality, Analytics, and Information Systems teams to design, implement, and optimize technology‑enabled clinical information workflows and reporting infrastructure.
This position requires ongoing concurrent clinical practice within a relevant clinical specialty at Sutter Health.

Pay Range is $832.00 to $416,000.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
