TK Health Clinics is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director (MD or DO) to lead the clinical team at Jefferson County Jail in Beaumont, Texas This is a full-time position offering a hybrid schedule
32 hours per week on-site
8 hours per week via telemedicine
This leadership role is ideal for a physician interested in making a meaningful impact by overseeing patient care in a secure correctional setting.
Compensation:
Annual Salary: Up to $300,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all healthcare services
Collaborate with facility leadership and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure quality standards and compliance with state/federal regulations
Deliver direct patient care as needed and provide supervision to other clinical providers
Participate in policy development, risk management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Must hold an active and unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of Texas
Board-certified or board-eligible in a relevant specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred, with supervisory experience a plus
Correctional healthcare experience is a plus but not required
Ability to pass a background check
