Position summary

Responsible for the ethics-based construction and science of the image and role of Nestlé products for infant nutrition and neonatal and pediatric supplementation, with healthcare professionals and institutions, within a specified territory, in order to properly guide the recommendation/advocacy/prescriptions for these products.

A day in the life of a Medical Delegate

  • Compliance: Use the market-specific code management system as a guidance document for all day-to-day activities, to assist the leadership team to ensure that all activities within the team and region comply with the WHO International Code for Marketing Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions and Local Code.
  • Advocacy: Ensure greater advocacy towards Nestlé Nutrition and Supplement products and Nestlé Nutrition services, when detailing Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and calling in Healthcare Institutions, through: the application of acquired skills; incorporate knowledge of Nestlé products and competition, territory dynamics and Healthcare Professionals profile in the discussion with HCP and also contribute to long-term and mutually beneficial relationships during these interactions.
  • Manage the assigned territory according to the requirements and guidelines set for Masterdata management/ HCP classification/ HCP and Healthcare Institutions segmentation, master schedule planning, HCP call rate, call strike rate HCP surveys, and data collection for insights that can guide marketing and territory action plans.
  • The creation and execution of a territory-specific action plan to contribute to the outputs required by national and regional business plans.
