Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour | Part-Time | Onsite

At LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS, our work plays an important role in supporting quality patient care-and our Couriers are an essential part of that process.

As a Medical Courier, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting laboratory specimens from physician offices, collection centers, nursing homes, and other locations to our laboratory. Your reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure specimens arrive safely, on time, and ready for processing.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport laboratory specimens according to established routes and schedules.
• Pick up specimens from physician offices, collection centers, nursing homes, and other designated locations.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled, handled, and maintained at the appropriate temperature.
• Follow all laboratory, OSHA, and safety requirements for specimen transportation and handling.
• Maintain required knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA, and Leak & Spill procedures.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all applicable safety protocols.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at each pickup and delivery location.
• Communicate promptly with the laboratory regarding customer concerns, specimen issues, or delivery-related problems.
• Receive incoming shipments and assist with outgoing orders.
• Print shipping labels and assist with preparing shipments.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and checklists.
• Perform other courier, warehouse, and operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid driver's license.
• Clean 10-year driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a designated route effectively.
• Ability to follow safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory procedures.
• Strong visual and auditory acuity.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and healthcare professionals.
