Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with 1–3 years of experience in medical claims processing, denial management, accounts receivable, and payment posting. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of medical billing codes and experience working with both in-network and out-of-network payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit electronic and paper medical claims accurately and promptly.
• Use appropriate CPT and HCPCS codes, including V-codes for hearing aids and related supplies.
• Track unpaid, rejected, and denied claims.
• Prepare and submit strong appeals supported by medical necessity documentation rather than relying only on claim resubmissions.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
• Reconcile payment records and accounts receivable reports.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on pending claims and payments.

Shift time: 5.30 PM to 2.30 AM (+/- 1hrs)

Work from Office

Salary up to -3.6 LPA

Exp- 1yr +

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant medical billing experience.
• Knowledge of claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and A/R follow-up.
• Familiarity with both In-Network (INN) and Out-of-Network (OON) billing.
• Experience working with:Commercial insuranceMedicareMedicaidVA/Federal payers
• Understanding of CPT and HCPCS coding, including V-codes for hearing aids and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing medical necessity appeals.
• Ability to analyze A/R reports and identify outstanding payment issues.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
