Our client, a Medical & Urgent Care billing company, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist.

The ideal candidate is experienced in medical billing, organized, and capable of managing a structured daily workflow while independently handling claim processing and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow up consistently on unpaid or pending claims.
• Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims.
• Post insurance and patient payments.
• Apply adjustments according to payer rules and internal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing and payment records.
• Manage AR follow-up activities to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure proper documentation and coding support.

Requirements:

• 5 + years medical billing experience required.
• Strong understanding of claim submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up processes.
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable navigating a structured billing workflow
