This role requires the next hire to ensure accurate, compliant billing and coding processes that maximize revenue, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Reviewing and coding medical records accurately (CPT, ICD-10)
  • Submitting clean claims and resolving denials
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and following up on unpaid claims
  • Ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying and fixing revenue leakage issues

  • Managed end-to-end medical billing and coding processes
  • Reduced claim denials and improved reimbursement rates
  • Worked with billing systems, clearinghouses, and payer portals
  • Maintained compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

Requirements

What You Need To Have

  • Proven experience in medical billing and coding
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and billing practices
  • Experience with EHR/EMR and billing platforms
  • Understanding of insurance and claims processes

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Internet Connection:
    • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps
    • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps
    • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
  • Primary Device:
    • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
      • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
      • A minimum of 8 GB RAM
  • Backup Device:
    • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
    • Must be functional during power interruptions.
  • Peripherals and Workspace:
    • A functioning webcam
    • A noise-canceling USB headset
    • A quiet, dedicated home office space
    • A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
