The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing and processing patient billing information, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies, and handling patient inquiries related to billing. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of medical billing codes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify patient billing information, including medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Utilize billing software to input and manage patient data and billing records.
• Keep updated with changes in billing regulations, insurance policies, and healthcare laws.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Managing online claim submissions and handling the rejections.
• Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Provide support to the accounting department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 4 years of experience in medical billing or a similar role in healthcare industry. International experience will be a plus point.
• Should have idea about payment postings, denials posting.
• Must have an idea about Clearing House Rejections.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
