Logan Health's Hematology/Oncology Clinic is looking for a compassionate Registered or Certified Medical Assistant to join their team!

Your Role in Action

As a Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA), you’ll play a key role in supporting oncology providers and nurses to deliver seamless, high-quality care. You will:

  • Prepare patients for visits and treatments by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and updating records.

  • Assist providers during exams and in-office procedures.

  • Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing as ordered.

  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient, timely visits.

  • Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Support scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients and families.

  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and ensure compliance with infection control standards.

  • Provide compassionate, professional communication and education to patients navigating oncology care.

What You Bring

  • Required: Active Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential. (We cannot accept trainees for this position. Must already have your RMA or CMA certifications.)

  • Preferred: Previous experience in oncology, specialty, or hospital-based clinic setting.

  • Current Health Care Provider CPR preferred or must successfully complete prior to completion of orientation.

  • Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.

Shift:

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. This position works four 10-hour day shifts per week.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
