This is a part-time, benefitted position (40 hours per pay period) located at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. Patients ranging from infants to 21 years oldWeekends required on a rotating basisSeeking dependable, self-motivated team players What you'll do:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environmentPerform patient care services that support the providers and clinicFront Office responsibilities such as registration, scheduling, patient check-ins, collecting co-pays and check-outsClinical support by checking patient vitals, rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, point of care duties, immunizations, covid swabbing, and providing patient educationWide variety of acute care patients

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsmanBLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)Preferred Qualifications:One year MA experience in an outpatient settingPediatric experience Experience with injections and vaccinesExperience with PPD (tuberculin) placement
