Job Description

The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support within the OB/Women’s Health office setting. This position assists providers with patient care, prepares patients for examinations, performs basic clinical procedures, and supports efficient office operations while maintaining a positive patient experience. The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required

Qualifications:

• Validation of a high school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• Current Medical Assistant certification required
• Previous physician office, OB/Women’s Health, or clinic experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
