What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant or CMA, you'll work closely with
providers to deliver exceptional patient care by supporting both clinical and
administrative functions in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Room patients and obtain vital signs
• 
  Support daily clinic operations & assist
  providers with exams and procedures
• 
  Administer diagnostic tests, immunizations, and
  medications
• 
  Ensure timely clinical documentation and document
  patient information accurately in the electronic health record
• 
  Coordinate prescription refills, referrals, prior
  authorizations, and scheduling
• 
  Communicate test results and follow up with
  patients
• 
  Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinic readiness
• 
  Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  while promoting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high standards
  of care
• 
  Collaborate with providers and the care team to
  deliver compassionate, coordinated care

What We Are Looking For

Education &b Experience

• 
  High school diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent
  preferred
• 
  One year of healthcare experience preferred

Certification

• 
  Current National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  certification required within 6 months of hire
• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  and maintained every two years

No MA certification? An employer-sponsored training program
provides classroom instruction and hands-on experience to prepare you for
certification. New hires receive a comprehensive orientation and 4–6 weeks of
hands-on preceptorship.
