Medical Assistant – Millennium Physician Group
Location: 446 Poplar Street, Ste B, Macon, Georgia
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with 3+ years of experience to join our high‑volume outpatient practice in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Strong knowledge of Athena EMR is required.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and documenting medical histories
Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
Administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and completing basic MA clinical tasks
Managing high‑volume patient flow efficiently
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in Athena
Coordinating referrals, authorizations, and patient follow‑up
Supporting front‑office tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, check‑in/out)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – required
3+ years of MA experience in a clinical setting
Proficiency with Athena EMR
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage a high‑volume workload
Bilingual not required
