ChristianaCare Obstetrics & Gynecology at Elkton provides comprehensive, compassionate women’s healthcare tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Our team of board-certified gynecologists and dedicated healthcare professionals supports women through every stage of life. Services include prenatal and postpartum care, well-woman exams, menopause management, family planning and contraception, and treatment for a wide range of women’s health conditions, including breast and cervical health concerns, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, menstrual disorders, hormone imbalances, osteoporosis, and more.
OB/GYN – ChristianaCare Cecil County
As a Medical Assistant I, you will assist physicians during the examination and treatment of patients, whether through virtual or on-site appointments. This role is crucial for delivering quality patient care and encompasses various clinical and clerical duties within medical practice.
The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
