The Medical Assistant I (Float) supports patient care operations and promotes efficient patient flow across the Radiation Oncology (APEX Cancer Center) and Urology Clinic departments within Urology Austin’s Kyle locations. This role is designed to provide cross-functional clinical support while maintaining high standards of patient care, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
This position will primarily provide coverage support within the Radiation Oncology clinic approximately 2.5 days per week, while also supporting Medical Assistant responsibilities within the Urology clinic approximately 2.5 days per week. The selected individual will receive training in both specialty areas to ensure effective support across departments.
Based on operational needs, this position may also function as a float Medical Assistant supporting additional Urology Austin clinic locations. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy for travel between clinic locations.
This role requires flexibility, adaptability, strong communication skills, compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn specialty-specific workflows in both Radiation Oncology and Urology.
