At Logan Health, our Concierge Medicine team is dedicated to providing a highly personalized healthcare experience focused on accessibility, relationship-based care, and exceptional service. We are seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support patient care, care coordination, membership services, and administrative operations within the Concierge Medicine program. This role plays an integral part in delivering an exceptional patient experience through personalized service, proactive communication, and coordination of healthcare services across the Logan Health system.

What You'll Be Doing

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
• Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

OR

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.

Preferred Experience

• One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
• Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.

• Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.
• Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
