Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 Hourly

United Medical Doctors is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiology care. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Medical Assistant to join our cardiology team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist cardiologists with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare patients for stress tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiovascular procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and heart health management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
- Assist with insurance authorizations and prior approvals for procedures.

Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Prior experience in cardiology or a related medical field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and cardiology procedures.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
