Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00Am - 1:00PM / Rotating Saturday Shift
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hr. + Bonus Structure
Requirements: Active Medical Assistant certification in the state of South Carolina

What You’ll Do
Provide Care
- Support patients by obtaining vital signs, conducting health assessments, performing TB testing, and collecting blood specimens.
- Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens accurately and safely to ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic testing.
- Help patients stay engaged in care by coordinating exam scheduling, annual physicals, and preparing monthly testing lists that promote continuity of care.
Manage Inventory and Documentation
- Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure clinicians have their needed resources.
- Manage laboratory results and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality and protected health information.
- Foster a clean, organized, and sanitary environment that supports patient safety and quality care.
Team Building
- Collaborate with clinical team members by providing support and guidance on laboratory testing and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification in the state of South Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and medical assistant/phlebotomist procedures.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and computer skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Fast-paced clinical environment with period of increased activity.
- Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.
- Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
- Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Frequent keyboarding and computer use.
