Compensation
Compensation is based on experience, certification, and relevant clinical background.
What You’ll Do
- Support providers with daily clinical operations, including patient intake, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures such as injections, dressing changes, and suture/staple removal.
- Prepare and manage patient charts in Athena, ensuring all labs, imaging, referrals, and documentation are complete and accurate.
- Escort patients through their visit, provide education on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment, including proper handling of medical supplies and biohazard materials.
- Complete required documentation, including EMR updates, lab results, and workers’ compensation forms (e.g., DWC25), accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members, responding to calls, messages, and supporting overall clinic flow in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Bonus if You Have
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in orthopedicsor another specialty clinic
- Familiarity with orthopedic procedures, terminology, and workflows
- Experience with Athena EMR or similar systems
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout the day
- Ability to lift or assist patients as needed
- Fast-paced clinical setting with frequent patient interaction
- Exposure to standard medical office equipment and supplies
