Job Description

Busy Little Rock Specialty Clinic currently seeking a  Medical Assistant.

Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have EMR experience.

Duties include:

• Preparing and stocking treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Rooming patients and recording medical history
• Draw blood
• Patient education
• Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations
• Return patient phone calls
• Calling in Rx
• Perform routine screening tests, such as height, weight, blood pressure checks
• May float to Surgical side and assist in procedures/set up sterile trays

Requirements of the Medical Assistant

• Current and valid MA certification (RMA preferred)
• Prior EMR experience
• At least one year of experience working as a medical assistant
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

$17-18 per hour depending on experience

Off at noon on Fridays!
