What You'll Do

This role is primarily back-office focused, with occasional front-office support responsibilities.

Clinical / Back Office Responsibilities

• Rooming and triaging patients
• Recording vital signs and updating EMR documentation
• Administering immunizations and injections
• Performing EKGs
• Managing patient calls, prescription refills, and referrals
• Obtaining prior authorizations and entering demographic information
• Assisting providers with additional clinical duties as needed

Occasional Front Office Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Enrolling new patients
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Answering phones and assisting with patient inquiries
• Supporting daily office operations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical practice preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality
• Strong multitasking abilities and a team-first attitude
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience with medication prior authorizations is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20 – $26 per hour, commensurate with experience
• Benefits: Paid Time Off
