About the role
Seeking a versatile secondary income option? Consider joining IntraCare Health Center as a PRN Medical Assistant, providing support to our clinics across the Phoenix Arizona market whenever needed. This position entails aiding in patient care and managing clinic functions, guaranteeing the delivery of superior services at various sites.
What you'll do
Patient Care: Provide assistance to patients, ready examination rooms, and conduct fundamental medical tasks, including the collection of vital signs.
Administrative Support: Oversee patient documentation, aid in appointment scheduling, and manage reception duties such as patient check-in and payment facilitation.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate intimately with medical staff to promote streamlined clinic workflows and enhance patient contentment.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
- Attention to detail and professionalism
Requirements:
- Active Medical Assistant Certification and BLS CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred
- Reliable transportation access
