Job Description

Integrated Dermatology is a leading national dermatology practice that acquires and partners with dermatology practices across the United States. The culture at ID is a reflection of its people. • The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Greet and prepare patients for dermatological examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Assist dermatologists with a variety of clinical procedures, including but not limited to skin exams, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and cosmetic treatments.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.
• Perform wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes as directed.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and general dermatological health.
• Manage patient records and handle prior authorizations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Support front desk operations as needed, including answering phones and verifying insurance.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of dermatologic terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems (e.g., EMA, Epic, or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and staff.

Job Type:

• Full-time: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in a medical office, preferred
• Bilingual candidate, preferred
