The Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Greet patients, record vitals, assist with exams, and provide patient education.
• Clinical Support Perform tests (e.g., EKGs, blood draws), administer medications, sterilize equipment, and maintain exam rooms.
• Administrative Duties Schedule appointments, answer phones, manage medical records, and support billing/coding.
• Compliance Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines for patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Education High school diploma; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience Prior experience and EMR knowledge preferred.
• Skills Strong communication, multitasking, and patient interaction skills.
